About two months ago I wrote about former Tennessee Congressman Harold Ford possibly running for the New York U.S. Senate seat currently held by Kirsten Gillibrand. Over the past two months, the Ford for Senate chatter wore off, however a possible campaign is back on the radar.
Ford moved to New York three years ago and has told associates that he will make a decision regarding the race in about 45 days. Ford is talking to top Democratic donors especially in New York City who are dissatisfied with Gillibrand.
....................................................................................
Personally I would take Gillibrand over Ford. I would take Thompson over both of them. How will Harold Ford do as a candidate in New York? I don't know, let me see his first fund raising report. Also, if Ford runs in New York, will he run as a liberal?
