Yankee great Tommy "Old Reliable" Henrich dies at 96
Tommy Henrich, the Yankee right fielder nicknamed "Old Reliable" who played his entire career for the Yankees has died at the age of 96. Henrich was known as a clutch hitter who led the American League in triples twice and in runs once, and also hit 20 or more home runs four times. He hit the first walk off home run in World Series history in Game 1 of the 1949 World Series. Henrich was a member of the 1938, 1941, 1947, 1949 and 1951 World Series New York Yankee's Championship teams.
