The Wall Street Journal reports that the unemployment rate fell from 10.2% to 10% between October and November. Nonfarm payrolls fell by 11,000 while economists had expected a payroll decrease of 125,000.
CBS News reports that the President will deliver a major speech on the economy next week. Expect the President to talk about the unemployment rate decrease, the CBO report and the positive effects of the stimulus package.
