Former New York City Comptroller Bill Thompson would win the Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate in a landslide according to a new poll from Quinnipiac. According to the poll, Thompson leads Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, 41% to 28%.
According to pollsters in New York, if Thompson can raise money and get in the race, he can beat Gillibrand.
I hope Thompson runs, he is a true solid progressive and would be a great U.S. Senator for New York.
