The cold hard facts are that Harry Reid faces an uphill fight in Nevada in 2010 and will most likely go down in defeat. I am sorry that we will most likely lose our 60 seat majority in the Senate with Reid's defeat but I won't be sorry to see this spineless go along to get along conservative Democrat leave the Senate.
That said, I am starting the Schumer for Senate Majority Leader campaign now. Following the 2010 elections, I intend to contact Senator Nelson and Senator-elect Meek to urge them to support Schumer for Senate Majority Leader. Schumer would be a great Majority Leader. Even if Reid survives which I don't see happening, I hope Schumer runs for the top spot in the Senate.
