Sarah Palin will crisscross Florida next week as part of a book tour and Marco Rubio's U.S. Senate campaign says they would welcome an endorsement from the former 2008 Republican Vice Presidential candidate.
"There are a lot of things that Marco admires of her, there a lot of things that they agree on", Communications Director Alex Burgos said in a Fox News interview Saturday. "He'd be honored to have her support of him". Burgos said that both Palin and Rubio have comparable ideological positions and both have similar philosophies in their respective elected positions.
Palin has not made an endorsement in the Florida Senate race however a Palin endorsement for Rubio could doom Governor Crist's chances in the Senate primary.

As a Meek supporter, I am pulling for Rubio big time. Florida rejected McCain/Palin in 2008 and I am confident that Florida would reject Palin's choice in the Senate race. For Marco to compare himself to Palin is fine for a GOP primary but Marco forgets that he is going to be facing a state that went for Obama in 2008 if he wins the GOP nomination.
