Thought former New York Governor George Pataki was going to run for the U.S. Senate against Kristen Gillibrand? Think again! Pataki is headed to Iowa to explore a run for the 2012 Republican nomination for President.
Pataki will be 67 in 2012, too old to serve a term or two in the Senate and then make a Presidential run so it appears as though that the former three term New York Governor is just going to aim for the White House.
Pataki is due in Iowa later this month. 2012 will be very interesting.
