Former Long Island Congressman Rick Lazio is running for the Republican nomination for New York Governor as former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani ponders entering the race.
"I'm thinking about it but I don't know if I'm at the point of seriously considering it. It's a little too early," the former Mayor told CNN.
Giuliani would easily defeat New York Governor David Paterson according to polls but would lose to New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo. Cuomo has shut down speculation that he will run however like Giuliani said, "It's a little too early."
